UNILAG Engineering Faculty Gets Upgrade To Boost Learning

As part of private sector contribution to infrastructural development in the education sector, an alumnus of the Mechanical, Civil and Environmental Engineering Faculty, of the University of Lagos (UNILAG), Engineer Wole Ogunsanya has donated a total of 4 classrooms and 6 offices to the faculty of engineering of the tertiary institution.

At the commissioning, the donor, Engineer Ogunsanya who is also the CEO of Geoplex Drillteq Limited, further pledged to continue to support the Engineering Faculty of UNILAG, by supporting an Incubation program for the various Research ideas within the Faculty, to look for real life applications and ways to bring them to market.

Joined at the commissioning by the Dean of Faculty, Professor O.M. Sodiq, the Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Folasade Ogunsola, and members of the alumni, Wole Ogunsanya noted that the intention was to improve the quality of education for the students.
