The Lagos State House of Assembly has confirmed the nomination of fifteen commissioners among the eighteen commissioners sent by the Lagos state governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo Olu.
Reading out the list to members of the house, the speaker, Mudaisiru Obasa noted that Mr. Samuel Egube and Eng Olalere Odusote were rejected by the House while Hon. Tolani Sule Akibu was stepped down for further considerations.
Some of the names of the confirmed nominees are Dr. Afolabi Abiodun Tajudeen Mr. Oluwaseun Oriyomi Osiyemi, Prof. Akinola Emmanuel Abayomi, Dr. Oluwarotimi Omotola Wahab Fashola amongst others.
The Speaker asked the clerk to immediately forward the names of the confirmed nominees to the governor, before the House adjoined sittings to September 12th
