The All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu says “losing Lagos State narrowly to another part” should not be reason for violence.
The appeal come after the Labour Party, Peter Obi defeated his counterparts in the February 25 poll in Lagos State, polling 582,454 votes to trounce the former Lagos State governor who scored 572,606 votes.
In a statement issued by Mr Bayo Onanuga, director, Media and Publicity, APC Presidential Campaign Council in Abuja, Tinubu had appealed to Lagos State residents to be calm and eschew any act which could lead to breakdown of law and order.
