INEC to introduce Computer-Generated Slips for voter's accreditation

The Resident Electoral Commissioner in Ogun State, Mr. Niyi Ijalaye, in a meeting yesterday with security chiefs led by the commissioner of Police in the state, Frank Mba, warned that use of mobile phones is banned at polling units in the state.
Ijalaye who gave the warning in Abeokuta while addressing journalists shortly after the meeting said, voters would not be allowed to make calls or take pictures with their phones when they are casting their votes.
The REC also declared that, it is a criminal offence for voters to make use of their mobile phones at the polling booths during the Saturday’s election.
