The House of Reps has mandated the inspector General of Police IGP KAYODE EGBETOKUN and the Nigerian Army (Operation Safe Heaven) to investigate the KILLINGS IN SOME LOCAL GOVERNMENTS IN PLATEAU STATE, ensure culprits are brought to book; identify and evacuate all cells of bandits within the state.

Correspondent Nathan Williams reports that in a motion of urgent public importance, Hon. Dachung Musa Bagos had recounted that attacks have been occurring in some parts of Plateau State for some months now, with crops in farmlands completely destroyed, arguing that citizens may soon experience food shortage.
