House of Reps Confirms Appointed Service Chiefs

The House of Reps has confirmed the appointment of the service chiefs recently appointed by President Bola Tinubu, following the adoption of the report of House adhoc committee which screened them.

The green chamber had on Monday this week, commenced the screening of the SERVICE CHIEFS days after the red chamber confirmed the appointment of the military chiefs.

The lawmakers have also resolved to set up a COMMITTEE made up of Members from 6-Geo Political Zones to investigate factors responsible for the recent fuel pump increase in the country. Sequel to a motion of Urgent national importance moved by Hon Ugochukwu Chinyere Ikenga, the House explained that Nigerians are worried over the incessant increase – especially recently from N537.00 per litre to N617.00 recently.

The lawmaker had urged the House to summon the GMD of the NNPC Limited, Mele Kyari to appear and explain reason for the fuel increase.
