President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reaffirmed his commitment to national stability, declaring that Nigeria will never surrender to agents of instability or terrorism.
Speaking during an interfaith breaking of fast with traditional and religious leaders from all six geopolitical zones, at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Monday, the President acknowledged the desperation of defeated insurgents stressing that, the nation’s sovereignty remains intact and his administration is determined to “win and win well” in the fight against insecurity.
Our correspondent, Raliat Adenekan reports that President Tinubu noted that the difficult reforms implemented at the start of his tenure have begun to yield results, providing relief to pensioners and stabilizing state finances.
The Etsu Nupe, Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar, who represented the Sultan of Sokoto and the Nigeria Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, thanked the President for fostering an environment of unity.
Similarly, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, President of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), pledged the church’s continued support for the administration’s efforts to transform the economy and strengthen the country’s security architecture.
