Tinubu Encourages Wealthy Nigerians to Share with the Less Privileged During Ramadan

President Bola Tinubu has called on wealthy Nigerians to demonstrate compassion and generosity by sharing their wealth with the less privileged during the holy month of Ramadan.

He made this appeal during the first yearly Ramadan Tafsir at the State House Mosque in Abuja on Tuesday.

Emphasizing the significance of Ramadan, President Tinubu highlighted the importance of reflection, love, and sacrifice, which are central themes of the Islamic month. He urged all Muslims to embody these values and extend a helping hand to their neighbors in need.

“I advise all of us to continue to pray for the country… Be kind and humble enough to make sacrifices and share whatever little we have with our brothers and sisters,” President Tinubu emphasized.

During the event, the Chief Imam of the State House Mosque, Malam Abdulwahid Suleiman, reiterated the importance of prayer and support for leaders in their efforts to address the challenges facing the country. He prayed for President Tinubu’s guidance, wisdom, and foresight in leading the nation, expressing the Muslim Ummah’s continuous support for his administration.

President Tinubu expressed gratitude for the prayers and support, acknowledging the responsibility bestowed upon him to lead Nigeria. He underscored the importance of humility, forgiveness, and patience in addressing national issues and fostering unity among citizens.
