The governorship candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in Lagos State, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, has raised alarm over alleged death threats and assassination attempts on his life.
Rhodes-Vivour, who raised the alarm on a TV Programme on Sunday, said he received a series of death threats, as well as intelligence reports in Epe about plans to eliminate him.
He alleged that one Honourable Wale Oluwo and Honourable Najid of the PDP who was working with them, were also shot at in Epe on Saturday.
Earlier, former Deputy Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Bode George, in a recent press conference in Lagos, had also warned of a plot to eliminate Rhodes-Vivour.
