The Conference Themed: The Future of Insurance: Trends, Challenges, and Opportunities, is expected to bring together leading minds from across the continent including policy makers, industry experts, and trail blazers in the industry to treat crucial issues such as the role of innovation and technology amongst others.
At a news conference in Lagos, the President of AIWA, Mrs. Margaret More, said the conference will look to shaping the future of insurance in Africa and provide gender equality in the insurance business segment.
According to Mrs. Margaret:
“The discussions, insights, and partnerships formed at this event will help find the strategies for making insurance more accessible, innovative and inclusive across the continent”.
The Chairperson of the Local Organising Committee at AIWA, Mrs. Ebelechukwu Nwachukwu noted, the essence of the conference is to give women in the Industry a stronger representation going forward.
“We have a session that is very gender focus on bridging the gender gap. Women are not very represented in the industry. We have other topics that focus on AFCFTA, all of the tropical issues will be discussed at the conference”
