Nigeria’s Super Falcons are set to take on familiar rivals South Africa in the first leg of the 2024 Olympic Games final round qualifying fixture in April. 

The Super Falcons secured their place in the final round by defeating the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon 1-0 on aggregate. Meanwhile, South Africa booked their spot by defeating Tanzania with an aggregate score of 4-0.

The upcoming fixture marks an important step for the Super Falcons as they aim to qualify for the Olympics, having last participated in the event in 2008. 

The 2024 Olympic Games are scheduled to be held in Paris, France, from July 26 to August 11, 2024.
