Super Falcons qualify for 2024 Olympics

The Nigeria Football Federation unveiled a roster update on Monday, just four days before the 2024 Paris Olympic Games qualifier clash between the Super Falcons and African champions South Africa in Abuja.

The Super Falcons have qualified for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.

The last time Nigeria’s Super Falcons reached the Olympics was 16 years ago.

Nigeria beat South Africa 1-0 on aggregate to reach the Summer Olympics.

Rasheedat Ajibade had scored from the spot in the first leg of the qualifiers in Abuja last Friday, while the tie ended goalless in the return leg in South Africa yesterday.

Meanwhile, Nigeria is in Group C alongside World Cup champions Spain, Japan and Brazil in the Games billed for July 26 to Aug.11 in France.
