The Super Eagles of Nigeria will play the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon in the round of 16 of the Africa Cup of Nations(AFCON) on Saturday at the Stade Félix Houphouët Boigny.

Nigeria secured their place in the knockout stage with a 1-0 victory over Guinea-Bissau, thanks to an own goal. Meanwhile, Cameroon displayed resilience in a thrilling encounter against Gambia, securing a dramatic 3-2 win and advancing to the last 16 while eliminating Ghana from the tournament.

The Super Eagle will be hoping for a repeat show of their last encounter in the 2019 edition of the tournament in which Nigeria won  3-2 and a brace coming from Odion Ighalo and Alex Iwobi rounding up the goals.
