The Speaker House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas has approved the establishment of 130 Standing Committees including 24 new Standing Committees for the 10th Assembly.

The Speaker who spoke during an interactive session with the German Ambassador in Nigeria, Annett Günther, disclosed that the list of Committees as well as their chairmanship and membership would be released on Thursday before the House proceeds on two months’ recess.

Recall that the erstwhile Speaker, Femi Gbajabiamila through the recommendation of the Selection Committee approved 108 Standing Committees for the 9th Assembly.
