Football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo and his long-time partner Georgina Rodriguez have married in a private ceremony in Cascais, Portugal, near Lisbon.

Ronaldo, 41, confirmed the marriage by sharing a photo of their hands showing their wedding rings, alongside the caption “C ❤️ G.”

The couple held the intimate ceremony with their five children in attendance, according to Ronaldo’s representatives.

The wedding came exactly one year after Rodriguez, 32, announced their engagement on social media.

Ronaldo currently plays for Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr and remains one of the most recognisable figures in world football.
