PVC Collection Set for Sept 11 in Bayelsa, Imo, and Kogi

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has approved Sept. 11 to Oct. 9 for the resumption of collection of Permanent Voters’ Cards (PVCs) in Kogi, Bayelsa and Imo.

The commission made this known in a statement by its National Commissioner and Chairman, Information and Voter Education Committee, Sam Olumekun, in Abuja on Tuesday.

Olumekun said the approval was given in continuation of INEC preparations for the forthcoming off-cycle Governorship Elections in the three states holding on Nov. 11.

He said the exercise was only for registered voters in the three states who could not collect their PVCs before the suspension of the exercise on Feb. 5.
