Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markel have been invited to King Charles III’s landmark coronation in May but are yet to decide whether to attend, reports said Sunday.
Reports emerged of more frosty relationship in the royal family, as last week the couple were to be evicted from their home on the family’s Windsor estate, leaving them without a UK base from later this year.
If Prince Harry and Meghan do attend the coronation, it is not known what part they might play, as they are no longer “working royals”.
King Charles, who ascended to the throne upon his mother’s passing Queen Elizabeth II in September, will be formally crowned king in a pomp-filled ceremony on May 6 to be attended by dignitaries from around the world and watched by billions.
The main May 6 coronation day also happens to be the fourth birthday of Harry and Meghan’s son, Archie.
