President Tinubu in US calls on foreign investors, and Nigerians to invest back home.

President Bola Tinubu has challenged Africans including its political and business leaders, to look inwards instead of undue reliance on international donor funds.

Tinubu made the call at the Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF) and United Nations Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) Generation Unlimited (GENU) Breakfast Roundtable meeting, a side event at the ongoing 78th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), in New York.

Tinubu at another meeting organised by the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM) invited Nigerian resident in the United States to bring their resources to invest in the Nigerian economy, saying their fatherland had become home for business opportunities.

Tinubu also urged Nigerians eking out their living in the U.S. to rise above setbacks and adopt a new mindset that would enable them succeed in all of their endeavours.
