President Tinubu Hails Nigerian Grammy Nominees

President Bola Tinubu is set to depart Abuja on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, for Dakar, Senegal, where he will attend the inauguration of Senegal’s President-elect, Bassirou Diomaye Faye.

President Bola Tinubu has extended congratulations to Nigeria’s six musical talents nominated for the 2024 Grammy Awards. 

The nominees include Burna Boy, Davido, Olamide, Tems, Asake, and Ayra Starr.

In a statement released by his Media Adviser, Ajuri Ngelale, President Tinubu praised the musical virtuosos for their contributions to Nigeria’s cultural landscape and global influence through their artistry and infectious melodies.

The President lauded the nominated artists for their dedication to their craft, boldness, and commitment to excellence. He described them as exemplars of the Nigerian spirit, demonstrating resilience, determination, and a steadfast commitment to their craft.

President Tinubu expressed pride in the achievements of the nominees, recognizing their representation of Nigeria’s values and aspirations. He commended them for serving as outstanding ambassadors for the nation and wished them continued success in their careers.
