President Biden Defends Handling of Classified Files Amid Memory Concerns

US President Joe Biden has vehemently criticized an investigation into his handling of classified files, refuting suggestions about the limitations of his memory during a surprise news briefing held on Thursday evening.

Special Counsel Robert Hur’s decision not to charge President Biden for mishandling files was accompanied by scathing remarks, including questioning the president’s memory. However, Hur’s report acknowledged the difficulty in convicting Biden due to his portrayal as a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.

President Biden swiftly responded, asserting that despite his age, he remains the most qualified person to hold the presidency. The issue of Biden’s age has increasingly become a concern for voters leading up to November’s presidential election.
