Popular street singer Habeeb Okikiola, also known as Portable, has been released from police custody following a night spent in a cell. 

He was arrested in Lagos for an alleged dispute over payment for a G-Wagon vehicle purchased from a car dealer.

Portable reportedly failed to settle the outstanding balance of ₦14 million for the ₦27 million G-Wagon, paying only ₦13 million. 

Viral videos showed him attempting to evade arrest by scaling a gate when presented with a warrant. Subsequent footage depicted a confrontation with law enforcement officers, leading to his physical restraint and handcuffing.
