The management and legal team of Nigerian dancer and singer Poco Lee, whose real name is Iweh Pascal Odinaka, have confirmed that a sexual assault case involving him is currently before a UK court.

In a statement, his representatives acknowledged the growing public discussion surrounding the case and called for restraint as the legal process continues.

The team specifically addressed drink-spiking claims circulating online, saying those details do not form part of the allegations or charges before the court. They urged the media and the public not to add claims that do not appear in the actual case, warning that such reports could spread misinformation and unfairly influence public opinion.

Poco Lee’s representatives also stressed that being accused does not amount to being found guilty, saying the court should determine the matter based on the evidence presented.

Meanwhile, a separate woman has made claims online about the case, but her account has not been independently verified by a court or law enforcement agency. Authorities have also not established any connection between her claims and the UK proceedings involving Poco Lee.
