PMAN President Pretty Okafor Remains Suspended

The National Working Committee of the Performing Musicians Employers Association of Nigeria (PMAN) has urged members of the public to disregard the false reports that its National Executive Committee has reversed the suspension of its President, Mr. Pretty Okafor.

Recall that Mr Okafor was suspended over allegations of multiple violations of the organisation’sconstitution, financial misappropriation, and other offences.

In a statement through its General Secretary, Boniface Itodo PMAN’s Working Committee says it has not convened any National Executive Council meeting to discuss or determine any further actions regarding Mr. Pretty Okafor’s suspension which remains in effect indefinitely.

Noting that a NEC meeting can only be convened by the current Acting President, Sunny Neji and the General Secretary, PMAN’s Working Committee added that any statement made by Mr. Pretty Okafor or on his behalf should be entirely disregarded.
