Peseiro Confirms Yusuf Will Miss Cote d’Ivoire Clash

Super Eagles head coach, Jose Peseiro has revealed Alhassan Yusuf will miss the side’s clash with the AFCON host Cote d’Ivoire, due to injury. 

Yusuf sustained a thigh injury in Super Eagles’ 1-1 draw with Equatorial Guinea on Sunday, while Joe Aribo and Leicester City star Kelechi Iheanacho are in line to replace him in the starting line-up against the Ivorians.

The Super Eagles next play the Elephants of Cote d’Ivoire at the Alssanne Quattara Stadium, Ebimpe, Abidjan later today Thursday, with the game set to kick-off at 6pm Nigeria time.
