Onyeka Onwenu to Chronicle Music Career in Upcoming Film, Promises Rebranded Classics and Philanthropic Expansion

Renowned Nigerian musician, Onyeka Onwenu, has revealed her plans to produce a film that will chronicle her experiences spanning decades within the music industry. 

With a career dating back to the 1970s, Onwenu expressed her eagerness to offer audiences a firsthand account of the evolution of Nigerian music.

In an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria, Onwenu shared her enthusiasm for the film project, which aims to shed light on the significant milestones and challenges she encountered throughout her illustrious career.

In addition to the film venture, Onwenu discussed her efforts to reintroduce her classic songs to contemporary audiences by collaborating with emerging artists. She promised fans a compilation of rebranded tracks later in the year, ensuring that her timeless music continues to resonate with audiences old and new.

Beyond her musical endeavors, Onwenu reflected on her philanthropic initiatives, particularly her commitment to providing educational opportunities for underprivileged children in Abia State. She also revealed plans to expand her charitable efforts to Imo State, underscoring her dedication to uplifting communities and empowering the next generation.
