Nigerian striker Paul Onuachu has joined Turkish Super Lig outfit Trabzonspor on a season- long loan deal from Southampton, the English club made the announcement on their official website yesterday.

The 27-year-old Nigeria international failed to register a goal in 12 league appearances with Southampton going down on relegation to the Championship.

Onuachu made just one appearance for Southampton this season.

He will be third Nigerian to play for Trabzonspor following in the footsteps of Ogenyi Onazi and Anthony Nwakaeme.
