Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso have urged Nigerians to take the 2027 election seriously, saying voters must make informed choices as the country faces economic hardship and insecurity.
The duo spoke in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, during the latest Obi Talks Nigeria town hall, where they answered questions and engaged directly with residents.
Obi said many Nigerians struggle with food costs, weak purchasing power, education and access to healthcare. He declared his commitment to the country, saying, “I can die for Nigeria,” while urging voters to take the next election seriously.
Kwankwaso focused on poor roads and insecurity, particularly in Northern Nigeria. He said continued killings showed the urgent need for stronger action from those in authority.
The Port Harcourt event forms part of Obi’s nationwide town hall tour, which seeks to engage Nigerians directly ahead of the 2027 general election.
