NEMA Warns Lagos, Ogun, Delta, and 16 Other States of Potential August Floods due to Heavy Rainfall

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), has alerted Lagos, Ogun, Delta and 16 other states in Nigeria, to likely FLOOD from heavy rainfall within the month of August.

NEMA, in a statement issued by the Lagos Territorial Coordinator, Ibrahim Farinloye, listed the states and communities as Lagos State; which consists Apapa, Badagry, Eti Osa, Ikeja, Ikorodu, Ikoyi, Lagos Island, Ojo Lagos and Surulere; Delta Sate: with Aboh; Anambra; in Atani; Ogun; with focus on Ifo, Ota, Sagamu; and Nasarawa State; with Lafia, Wamba; amongst others.
