MIKANO MOTORS DONATES TEN VEHICLES TO LAGOS SECURITY TRUST FUND TO BOOST SECURITY IN LAGOS STATE

In its commitment to secure Lagos residents and businesses and also strengthen security architecture of the state, the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSSTF) has received ten vehicles donation from Mikano Motors Nigeria as a response to it private-sector partnership to strengthen public safety and operational response capabilities.

Presenting the vehicles to the executive secretary of the Lagos state security Trust Fund, Dr. Ayo Ogunsan at the Mikano head office in Lagos, the Chairman, Mikano Motors, Mr. Mofid Karameh lauded Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for his huge commitment and investment into safety and security stressing that the Governor’s proactive engagement at the recent Private Sector Breakfast Meeting provided a strategic platform for private sector leaders to be stay breast with government investment in security.

He therefore maintained that the donation of the vehicles reflects the company’s long-standing commitment to the safety and well-being of residents assuring Lagos residents of the company’s will to contribute towards strengthening Lagos security apparatus

Receiving the vehicles, the executive secretary of the Lagos state security trust fund on behalf of the management and staff of LSSTF, praised the company for taking the lead in responding to the state’s call for enhanced private-sector involvement.

He emphasized that support to the security trust Fund goes beyond monetary gifts but also items, equipment and other things that private sector has to offer and called on Nigerians to support businesses that contribute to public safety.

Dr. Ogunsan however assured the donors of responsible use while urging other private sectors of the country to do same as security is everyones busiiness
