Lucky Aiyedatiwa has been sworn-in as the 7th Executive Governor of Ondo State, marking the beginning of his first full four-year term after replacing Governor Rotimi Akeredolu who died in office in 2023.
Aiyedatiwa took his oath of office just after his running mate Olayide Adelami around 12:59 pm at the Ondo State Sports Complex in Akure.
In his inauguration speech, Governor Aiyedatiwa promised not to rest on his oars and vowed to improve the state economically in the next four years.
The governor also appointed Taiwo Fasoranti ,son of Pa Reuben Fasoranti, the leader of pan Yoruba socio-cultural group, Afenifere as the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), reappointed Dr Kayode Ajulo as Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Mrs Omowunmi Isaac as Commissioner for Finance.
