The Lagos State Security Trust Fund is seeking the partneeship of the Nigerian Air force base command in Ikeja toward achieving 24-hour drone surveillance across Lagos.
The partnership call was made when the Execution Secretary of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund Dr. Ayo Ogunsan led other management team on a courtesy visit to the Nigerian Air force bases in Lagos.
Dr. Ogunsan harped on the importance of modern aerial technologies to improve real-time security monitoring and enhance rapid response capabilities.
The partnership highlights a significant step toward deploying continuous drone-powered surveillance aimed at safeguarding communities and critical infrastructure in Lagos.
Responding, the Air officer commanding (AOC) logistics Command, Air-Vice Marshal Abubakar Abdul Saleh and the Commander 651 BSG Command,Air Commodore, Mohammed Asuekome Imam both reaffirmed the Nigerian Air Force’s readiness to support Lagos State’s evolving security architecture.
It would be recalled that Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu had earlier received the Chief of Air Staff, AVM Sunday Aneke, last week at Lagos House, Marina where they discussed the firm commitment of Lagos State to safety and security as well as the continued collaboration of the Nigerian Air Force in the interest of Lagosians.
