‘Let Us Remain Calm’ – Sanwo-Olu Tells Lagosians

Similarly, Lagos Governor Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu has urged Lagosians to go about their businesses without any fear of harassment as calm returns to Lagos following the friction in some parts of Lagos yesterday, shortly after the Lagos INEC announced the Labour Party Presidential Candidate – as winner of the just concluded presidential election in the state.

In a statement made available to journalists, Governor Sanwo-Olu said Law enforcement agencies have been asked to ensure that there is no breakdown of law and order in any part of the state. 

The governor was quoted as saying: that he has been Governor for almost four years, promoting harmony and friendship across ethnic and religious lines without any form of discrimination whatsoever.”

He further assured that “all will be well.
