Leicester’s relegation worries deepen after 5-3 loss at Fulham

A packed Monday night football in the English Premier League (EPL) saw surprising results almost no one could predict for relegation threatened teams.

Willlian and Tom Cairney both scored twice to help Fulham beat Leicester City 5-3 at home on Monday. The result ended the visitors’ three-game unbeaten 2022/2023 EPL run and left them in the relegation zone, falling to 18th place below Everton and Nottingham Forest, after the day’s other results.

Everton produced a masterclass in counter-attack football with a surprise 5-1 Premier League victory over Brighton.

While Nottingham Forest beat bottom club Southampton 4-3 for an English Premier League (EPL) survival hopes boost.
