Lagos State Government to Unveil New Revenue Portal to Block Leakages

Lagos state government plans to launch a comprehensive bill management system called “The Lagos Revenue Portal”.

According to the Government’s Special Adviser on taxation and Revenue, Abdulkadir Ogungbo, the online platform is designed to simplify payment of taxes by residents and corporate entities to ensure efficiency, convenience, and security.

On the portal, Ogungbo said Lagosians would be allowed to manage and print their bills online through bank transfer, POS, Card, USSD, and QR CODE optionsfrom the comfort of their homes or offices.

Governor Bababjide Sanwo-Olu is expected to lead other dignitaries on the official launch of the portal, slated for Thursday, August 15,.
