Lagos State Government to provide 70 million gallons of water daily through Adiyan Water project

The phase two of the Adiyan Water Works project in Ogun State is expected to supply Lagos residents with seventy million gallons of water per day when completed.

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu stated this today while on inspection of the facility which was first contracted in 2012.

Earlier, the Commissioner for the Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, said the state government had continued to rededicate itself to providing Lagosians access to adequate pipe borne water.

In his remarks, General Manager, Lagos State Water Corporation, Mukhtaar Tijani, assured that that the project would be completed by the contractor in due course.
