The Lagos State Ministry of Education has extended deadline for payment and registration of the Year 2023 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) from April 14 to April 28.

This is contained in a statement made available to newsmen on Thursday in Lagos by Mr Orunsolu Adebayo, Director, Lagos State Examinations Board.

According to the statement, the extension became necessary due to the hitches encountered by schools arising from the network problem to the current economic realities.

Adebayo added that the extension is to give room for most approved private and special schools in the state who are yet to register their candidates to do so.
