Labour Party denies receiving Apology from British Government, over Peter Obi’s Detention in London.

The Media Office of the Labour Party Presidential Campaign Council (LPPC) has debunked reports that the British Government has apologized over the embarrassing detention of its presidential candidate, Peter Obi.

Reports had claimed the British Government tendered an apology to the former Anambra State Governor who was last Friday, April 7, detained on arrival at Heathrow Airport by Immigration officials over a case of duplicated identity.

However a statement by the Head, Obi-Datti Media, Diran Onifade, called on the UK Government to resolve the matter around the embarrassment of Peter Obi, insisting that the party has not received any apology over the incident, but the Labour Party has since gone past the incident.
