Kuje Area Council Chairman Danjuma Shekwolo has denied threatening to remove residents who do not support the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Shekwolo said a video circulating online misrepresented comments he made during a meeting with APC youths and supporters.

He explained that the meeting addressed local development, administrative efficiency and community welfare, rather than plans to target residents based on their political views.

The council chairman said he cannot strip any resident of their constitutional rights because of political affiliation.

Shekwolo reaffirmed his commitment to fair and inclusive governance across Kuje Area Council, regardless of residents’ political differences.
