Kompany Takes Burnley To Man City In FA Cup Quarters

English FA Cup action also took place last night as Manchester City will host Vincent Kompany’s Burnley in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.

City legend Kompany, who played for the club from 2008 to 2019, has guided Burnley to the top of the Championship in his first season in charge.

League Two Grimsby – the lowest-ranked side left in the cup – go to Brighton & Hove Albion, and Manchester United host Fulham in an all-Premier League tie.

Sheffield United who stunned Tottenham Hotspur with a 1-nil defeat last night play Championship rivals Blackburn who knocked out Leicester City in their fifth-round fixture, in the final match-up.

The last-eight (or quarterfinal ties) will be played from March 17 to 19.
