American hip-hop artist Kanye West has revealed plans to include Lagos, Nigeria, as one of the destinations for his upcoming tours in 2024 and 2025. 

Making the announcement via his Instagram story on Wednesday, West listed Lagos alongside other countries such as Nairobi, Kenya, and Egypt.

The screenshot shared by West outlined suggested tour dates, with Lagos, Nigeria, slated for December 14, 2024, at the Eko Energy City. Additionally, Nyayo International Stadium in Nairobi, Kenya, is scheduled for December 7, 2024.

West’s tour is set to kick off in Toronto, Canada, on June 22, 2024, before traversing across the United States until August. Following his North American leg, the tour will move to Mexico. After wrapping up in the Americas, West will then head to Australia in January 2025, before concluding the tour in Japan in February.

The inclusion of Lagos in West’s tour itinerary has sparked excitement among fans in Nigeria, who eagerly anticipate the opportunity to witness the iconic artist perform live in their city.
