Following the Bayelsa, Imo, and Kogi governorship elections on Saturday 11 the
November, Stakeholders have called on the Independent National Electoral Commission
and Security agencies concerned to carry out thorough investigation into incidents of
pre-filled results sheets and other malpractices during the exercise.
Addressing a newsman in Abuja during the weekend, the Convener, Nigeria Civil Society
Situation Room, Yunusa Ya’u, said the Situation Room noted reports of pre-filled results.
sheets in Kogi, Ogorima and Mangogo Local Government Areas.
According to him, the coalition of CSOs observed that in Kogi State, transportation was not available in 26 percent of the Registration Area Centers (RACs) visited, and
materials were not properly batched in 17 percent of the RACs visited as well as
inadequate numbers of election officials unavailable in 15 per cent of the RACs visited.
