The Speaker of the House of Representatives Hon. Tajudeen Abbas has called on RESIDENT DOCTORS in the country to suspend their planned strike actions in the interest of citizens who will bear the brunt of the action.

Abbas who made the passionate plea while receiving representatives of the doctors in his office in Abuja yesterday explained that the House of Representatives is not unmindful of the sacrifices and contributions doctors in the country have made over the years; despite the brain drain which has hit the profession in recent times.
