Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, has appeared before the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) as part of its investigation into the disputed Presidential Foreign Investment Promotion Council (PFIPC).

His lawyer, Jiti Ogunye, confirmed that Gbajabiamila honoured the invitation in compliance with President Bola Tinubu’s directive and responded to questions before returning to his official duties.

The investigation follows allegations by the self-proclaimed Director-General of the PFIPC, Adeniyi Adeyemi, who accused the Chief of Staff of demanding a share of the agency’s proposed take-off funds.

Gbajabiamila has denied the allegations, insisting he neither demanded nor received any money and has no personal or official relationship with Adeyemi.
