Mrs Patience Jonathan, the wife of former President Goodluck Jonathan, yesterday, expressed her support for the First Lady, Senator Remi Tinubu, saying Nigerians have no other country and must support her.
The former first lady who spoke during a solidarity visit to Mrs Tinubu at the Presidential Villa, said the former Lagos Central senator had carried the women along during her time as the governor’s wife in Lagos State between 1999 and 2007.
Mrs Tinubu, in her remarks, thanked her predecessor for the visit, describing Mrs. Jonathan as her “senior colleague.” Mrs. Tinubu had earlier played host to the National Executive of the National Council for Women Societies, NCWS in her office at the State House, where she called on all Nigerians, especially MOTHERS to see to the re-orientation of the youth to get them back on the path of good values and morals.
