Former Arsenal And Real Madrid Star Mesut Ozil Announces Retirement From Professional Football

Former Real Madrid and Arsenal star Mesut Ozil has announced his retirement from football at the age of 34.
The German midfielder spent eight years at the Emirates Stadium after a £42.5million switch to North London from Spanish giants Real Madrid in 2013.
In his time at the Emirates, Ozil helped the Gunners win four FA Cup titles before joining Fenerbache in January 2021.
The 34-year-old had to endure a difficult end to his career after being beset by injuries before his latest announcement to call it quits with the game.
