Fire Guts Three Buildings in Idumota, Lagos Island

A fire outbreak occurred on Wednesday at the intersection of Nnamdi Azikiwe and Docemo in the Idumota area of Lagos Island, Lagos State, resulting in the destruction of three buildings

A fire outbreak occurred on Wednesday at the intersection of Nnamdi Azikiwe and Docemo in the Idumota area of Lagos Island, Lagos State, resulting in the destruction of three buildings. 

The Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service confirmed the incident on its X handle, reporting that two two-storey buildings and one three-storey building were affected by the fire. Firefighters were swiftly deployed to the scene to contain the situation and prevent further spread of the flames.

Margaret Adeseye, the Director of the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, issued a statement acknowledging the emergency response to the fire outbreak. 

She stated that the cause of the fire is yet to be determined, and fortunately, no casualties have been reported as a result of the incident.
