FIFA U – 17 WC: Colombia Beat Nigeria in Penalties

Nigeria’s U-17 women’s national team, Flamingoes lost to Colombia in the semi-final of the ongoing FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in India.

The game ended goalless after regulation time then Colombia defeated the Nigeria 5-6 on penalties to grab their ticket for Sunday’s final.

The third-place match on Sunday will be between Nigeria and the Germans who had lost 1-0 to defending champions Spain.

It is the second time Nigeria will play Germany in the competition. In their first meeting in the group stage the Germans came from a goal down to beat the Flamingos 2-1.
