Federal Government Appeals To Organized Labour to Shelve Planned Nationwide strike.

As the nationwide strike initiated by the Organized Labour continues to disrupt economic activities across Nigeria, the Federal Government has announced President Bola Tinubu's commitment to establishing a national minimum wage above ₦60,000.

The Federal Government has appealed to the Organized Labour to Shelve its planned Nationwide strike scheduled to commence on October 3rd 2023.

Our correspondent, Raliat Adenekan reports that rising from the National Economic Council meeting Plateau state Governor, Caleb Mutfwang alongside other Governors briefing State House Correspondents on the resolutions from the meeting, said the council noted the concerns of Nigerians and economic challenges faced, urging the Nigerian Labour Congress and the Trade Union Congress leaders to return to the negotiation table.
