Disney’s Mufasa: The Lion King Crosses ₦500 Million at Nigerian Box Office

After five weeks in cinemas, Disney’s Mufasa: The Lion King has grossed over ₦500 million at the Nigerian box office, solidifying its place as one of the highest-grossing films of 2024 in Nigeria.

According to data from the Nigerian box office, the film earned ₦30.6 million between January 17 and 23, bringing its cumulative total to ₦530 million. 

The film, which premiered on December 20, had already surpassed the ₦482 million mark two weeks earlier, underscoring its sustained popularity among Nigerian audiences.

Mufasa: The Lion King continues to perform strongly, demonstrating its enduring appeal in Nigerian cinemas as it remains a top choice for moviegoers.
