Dangote Petroleum Refinery has reduced the ex-depot prices of petrol and diesel, with the new rates taking effect from August 6.

Under the revised pricing structure, the refinery cut the ex-depot price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) by ₦50, bringing it down from ₦1,215 to ₦1,165 per litre. It also reduced the ex-depot price of Automotive Gas Oil (diesel) by ₦80, lowering the cost from ₦1,650 to ₦1,570 per litre.

The company said the adjustment forms part of its efforts to make refined petroleum products more affordable, improve access to energy, and support economic activities across the country.

Dangote Refinery added that it remains committed to maintaining a stable fuel supply while using operational efficiencies to deliver greater value to consumers, businesses and other stakeholders.

The refinery also reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Nigeria’s economic growth and passing on cost savings to consumers whenever market conditions allow.
